Life drawing again *yay*

*Mature content warning, naked pictures*

Ok so after the mentioning of life drawing from my lecturer Dave, and I also saw some posters up too. So of course with my love of life drawing I had to sign up, it did end up costing me like £70.50 for life drawing, but then also an added £13.50 on Japanese too XD.

But yes I managed to head down at about 20 to 19:00 which was a little later than I had planned, agreeing with Charlotte to head down at half past 6, but well it took a while to dry my hair, anyway enough about that, I managed to pay it all well and made my way to the room, where I was pleasantly surprised to see Debbie and Duncan there. As I didn't really expect anyone to turn up. And then a little later Caryn and Rob appeared.

Instead of giving a complete commentary though I will just go on with pictures and a few words.

Firstly I would like to say that Julie the tutor seems absolutely lovely, ok she is no Mr. Wadwell so far, but she seems great, she's nice and polite and helpful too.

We started with a few quick sketches, and also myself trying to get into the swing of life drawing again, as I've been kinda neglecting my drawing.

I apologise for the angle of the pictures, just otherwise my big ugly shadow was in them.

Then we went onto 30 second poses...I don't really like any of these that much though.

Then some more 30 second poses.

This image is just a closer shot of one of the others but I just wanted to emphasise on the coolness of it as I may of not drawn it too well, but as our model is quite skinny you can see his muscles really well (which is utterly amazing and great) and he had lifted his arm and I could see the strings of his muscles that had moved so he could raise his arm and it was like wow. Ok the picture makes him look like a bit of a machine but I just had to get it in a picture.

OK this was then the hour long pose, although we had a bit of a break in between, and from the break onwards I drew the next picture, but yeah I'm real happy with it, and that I drew it quite well, considering my last life drawing session was a while back now.

After filling in a registration form that needed to be done I decided to draw a larger picture of a part of his body which ended up being his leg cos I just love seeing the muscles and stuff. Although I must say next time I want to sit a bit closer as it felt like I was a bit too far away and couldn't see as much detail in his figure that I would have wanted to.

Overall I'm happy with how it was, and can't wait till next week...and of course my Japanese lesson as well :)
