Three Hundred and Eleven: The Long Halloween

I've always been a fan of Daredevil Yellow, the second I read it I know I really liked Loeb & Sale's combination of visual style and great writing, and one book I have been meaning to read is one of their greatest pieces, The Long Halloween.

So I've never really read a huge amount of Batman before, I'm not sure if it's just because I've been more of a Marvel and Vertigo person in the past but I do know there's some great reading out there.

Well with the release of Batman Arkham City I was chatting to someone about it, and next thing I knew I was borrowing his copy of The Long Halloween.

I must say I highly recommend it, I won't go spoiling the contents if you haven't read it already but it features Julian Day (The Calendar Man) as well as your usual Batman characters and features some great lines and dramatic imagery.

Of course if you feel like reading I little Batman you should definitely make sure to read Arkham Asylum which features the stunning work of Dave McKean, and of course The Killing Joke which are must haves for any new Batman fans out there.

Go read some awesome Batman now!
