Two Hundred and Forty Eight: Leedmees is out tomorrow!

I found out thanks to an email that one of my favourite games of E3 actually comes out tomorrow!

There were a few Kinect games here and there at E3 but none of them really jumped out as being as amazingly fun as Leedmees did. Of course you could say it's quite similar to Lemmings making it less unique. But it has been developed for the current market, while also understanding the necessity to add two player to a Kinect title.

I had loads of fun with Leedmees at E3, especially after it was only announced at the start of the show, had I not been wondering around the Konami stand I would never have noticed the little gem. It may not look it but it is a very active game. Which although it was extremely enjoyable, slightly saddens me as I fear I don’t have the room for two player, even though having to grab limbs of your second player was lots of fun.

Leedmees has a simple yet effective art style which helps give the characters a certain cuteness that stops you from ever wanting them to die. It was a really entertaining game which I’m sure will be great to play with friends, making it fall more into the party category, but it’ll sit there proudly as at heart it is a puzzle game.

Leedmees is out on Xbox Live Arcade tomorrow (7th September) for a mere 800 points. It was going to be the first Kinect XBLA title, however with Fruit Ninja Kinect and Hole in the Wall it hasn't gained that title.
