Two Hundred and One: Steam sales!

So the Steam sales have come around again to celebrate the summer, I don't believe I've bought as much as last time, however it was still enjoyable checking back each day to see what interesting games were on offer. I also felt that there was a lack of advertisement towards the indie games on sale this time round.

I didn't actually pick up many big games as in large retail titles and the majority of titles were either small releases or fairly old games.

  • Grand Theft Auto Classics
  • Jamestown
  • Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY
  • Cities XL 2011
  • Empire and Napoleon: Total War GOTY
  • Lume
  • Tiny Bang Story
  • Universe Sandbox
  • Telltale Complete Pack Summer Sale 2011
  • Terraria 4-pack
  • Inside a Star-filled Sky

Although if you add these games to the crazy amount inside the Telltale pack it does actually total to about 56 games. I'm not 100% sure if the sale was as good as it was earlier in the year, but I'm happy with the titles I picked up. I've started playing through Tiny Bang Story which is a great little game. Jamestown is a very entertaining schmup as is Inside a Star-filled Sky, although sadly it's very laggy while playing.

Can't wait till the new sales around Christmas time, however I do currently own more than enough games on Steam as it is, they better not ever decide to shut down the client.
