So of course Sunday was the last day of the Expo and I had to make sure to play as many games as possible/anything I really wanted to play. As of course I wouldn't have the chance until when the games are released otherwise. I had decided though that due to the size of queues for Battlefield 3 and the Old Republic, that I'd just play them when they're out.
However my main issue was being a little too tired to have the patience to queue, luckily I jumped on Batman Arkham City before it got really busy though. As well as lots of sitting and almost falling asleep on the floor over the course of the day I had a play of:
I really quite enjoyed Binary Domain, it's cover system had some minor flaws, but they didn't make it unplayable. It even had destructable cover but it wasn't immediately apparent as a player when cover could be destroyed or not. However it played well plus the robots you fight were pretty darn awesome. They could be killed in stages, if you wanted to save ammo a few headshots could do the trick once their outer head casing came off. Or if you wanted, you could shoot off their limbs. I only realised this when there was a robot crawling towards me down a flight of stairs and startled me.
Journey was an amazing little game which I will be making sure to download and play the second its released. I was already looking forward to it's release but didn't realise how much until I finished the demo.
I would write more in-depth opinions on the games I played but its easier for me talk about them on the upcoming episode of the podcast, as well as written previews on Gamercast
I even had a CounterStrike tshirt thrown at me so I didn't come home empty handed. Overall though Sunday was a great end to the expo and I only wish purely games related Expo's happened more often. MCM Expo is great but it only draws in local developers and has a slightly larger emphasis on anime.
